"Great products"
Great products, great discounts snd better than average shipping speeds. I have had no problems and i am a great fan of Ryobi tools.

"Long wait time, bad customer service, lost items"
After you order online can or will take up to a month to receive. When you go to direct tools website status board you might find any random status based on the day of the week. If or when you get the item it might come in one day, over several days or not at all. If you are able to talk with FedEx about a status, you've won the lotto. Your final option; after waiting a month, request a refund or wait another month and hope the item you expected for Christmas arrives before the start of Summer.

"Worst company I've ever ordered from!"
Placed an order for 2 garden tools. They notified me that it would take up to 20 days to process my order and another 1-2 weeks for delivery. I chose to cancel my order. After multiple emails and replies, they still have not refunded my money for 12 days. They kept saying that it would be in my account within 24-48 hours. I still have not received it. They are the worst business to order from. It has taken weeks to receive previous orders. And they always come banged up and packaged poorly.

"Former Fan"
Direct Tool used to be one of my favorite places to shop for tools. In the past year, I've noticed a steady decline in shipping speeds, to an ultimate point of waiting 8 business day for an order. When no updates were given about my most recent order, I called customer service (great representative- this review has no bearing on her), and I was told that the website should have been updated to say an 8 day MINIMUM, with orders taking up to 20 business days to ship. In today's day and age, with mass communication being widely available, web design that a child can manage, and constant access to communication tools, it is ridiculous to not inform customers about that long of a shipping issue. This leads me to the conclusion that management at Direct Tool has tanked, as indicated by the deceptive business practices.

Years ago, I wasn't living in the best situation and had to essentially live in a house that was under constant repair and renovation. At my local Direct Tool store, the workers got personally invested in my projects, one regularly went out of his way to make tool suggestions (even going against sales if he thought I didn't need something) and would explain resources I could use to reduce project costs.

I know Direct Tool has amazing employees because I've experienced it first hand. I am in disbelief that the company has sunk this low to take almost a month to ship orders and not be up front about it.

"Great place to buy"
There's is one problem with this company though that they are using FedEx to shipped to tell you one thing. All the other reviews are from people who ordered online and instead doing pick up at store which you should always go this route if you can. But if you can't pray to God you don't get low paid FedEx employee who already gave up on FedEx cause he got 200 more stops since last time. FedEx is worst than Amazon. Yes they treat there workers like slaves. To be cruelty free don't use FedEx plz directtoolsoutlet overall good company. Got Ryobi edger for 30 dollars

"I love this place"
I love this place, they have the same Ryobi tools that Home Depot sells but, for a lot less. They offer a 1 year warrantee and I have bought at least 8 18-Volt tools from them so far and all have worked perfect!

"Extreme slow order processing time, still not receiving orders yet"
I put an order on May 8th, 2022 for a new condition Ryobi Lawn mower. The system initially shows that processing time for shipping would be 3 days. Then it changed to "due to higher than normal sale volumes, the processing time can take up to 8 business days "; then, the site now changed the processing time to "up to 20 business days". I emailed the customer services, which replayed me about 2 days later (i thought i would not receive any responses from them), saying that they expected to ship the items by Jun 2nd. Today is Jun 2nd, they still did not ship the items. So, i called their customer service. After waiting for about 48 mins on the line, the rep told me they are expecting to ship items by the end of the week (Jun 5th), and they acknowledged that this has been delayed and there is nothing they can do about it. It has been almost a month since i put the order, and still did not receive even the shipping confirmation. The experience is horrible, and it not worth it to shop this store. After doing research online, i saw so many similar complaints and the low rating of this company. This is my first time buying from them, and i wish that i had done my research on this company before i made the purchase. I am going to wait until next Monday, and update this review about the items and their packagings and if the items is received damaged, etc, if I do receive items from them. Stay tuned.

"Direct Tools has no customer service"
Buyer beware. All Direct Tools wants is your hard earned money. Some of the tools they sell are good, especially Ridgid, but if you have any issues there is no customer service or support. Spend your money with a company that cares about the customer before, during, and after the sale. Stay away from Direct Tools.

"Great place to buy power tools"
I have bought countless tools from them only had one fail at first use. I took it back expecting the usual consumer run around, but to my surprise in 10 minutes I left with a new tool. I have ordered online a few times no issues and speedy delivery. All in all a 10 out of 10.

Purchased some refurbished tools from them that looked brand new. Other than being perhaps a little slow in shipping I've had nothing but good experiences with Direct Tools Outlet.

"Horrible Experience"
Ordered some Ryobi items. Order was placed on May 21,2021. Two weeks later the items still haven't shipped. They have plenty in stock items. The order has just a FedEx "Label Created" status. I called these useless people 3 times and also emailed them. Still no change or resolution. They already charged my credit card. Stay away from this outfit. You are better off buying directly from Home Depot or Lowes during their sale events.

You may save a few dollars, but you will be waiting forever for your order to arrive. I ordered from them before and the orders are always far too late, and the shipment is packed horribly. Always damaged boxes. Forget about the customer service. Even trying to get hold of a Manager or who is the decision maker is impossible. No one gives you a correct answer over the phone. Waste of time and aggravating to have to deal with. Apparently they DO NOT CARE about customers after the sale.
